Letter to Lee Jackson

Dear Mr. Jackson,

Hello!

I am a fan of many Apogee and 3D Realms games, including ones for which you were the composer.

Could you answer a few questions for me?

1. Early versions of Duke Nukem 3D reference the files "itsgreen.mid", "graf.mid", and "myrtle.mid". Do you know what these songs were and if they still exist?

2. Early versions of Duke Nukem 3D also had a different barmusic, with a much more pronounced low end. Was this file created original or was it sampled?
BARMUSIC.VOC

3. Do you have any sheet music, sequenced files, or MIDI versions for the Shadow Warrior CD tracks (barring the shareware MIDIs) and the Duke Nukem 3D CD extended Grabbag?

4. Do you still have the original MOD or source files for the Apogee Fanfare from Stargunner, which is in the game as "fanfare.wav"?

5. This comment was found in the Shadow Warrior source code:

/*
Directory of C:\DEV\SW\MIDI
EXECUT11 MID
HROSHMA6 MID
HOSHIA02 MID
INTRO131 MID
KOTEC2   MID
KOTOKI12 MID
NIPPON34 MID
NOKI41   MID
SANAI    MID
SIANRA23 MID
TKYO2007 MID
TYTAIK16 MID
YOKOHA03 MID
*/

Do these MIDI files still exist?

One more thing. An early version of Shadow Warrior had two MIDIs not present in any other version, named Taiko Recall and Pyroclastic Flow. I thought you might enjoy listening to them in case you no longer had them.
E1L01.MID
E1L05.MID

Thank you very much for your time!
